I need some help. I am still waiting to ger verified, so as I wait I have been looking,at some airsoft guns. I have picked two M14 and m4//m16. If anybody could give me there info that would be great. I dont know which of these two to pick from. Also because I am new I dont want to spend alot on my first gun. So if you could give me some brands that could be easily upgraded.

Why are you worried about upgrading? play some games first. Upgrading your gun wont make you a better player. Dont screw with your guns yet roll stock and learn how to use it first. M4's are very generic and you can do practically anything with them. M14 are a good platform depending on the brand you buy. TM-M14's are buletproof and in my opinion the best Airsoft gun made today. Right out of the box it is an all around killing machine. UNtill someone who doesnt know what there doing trys to upgrade it.

Most of all just wait till your AV'd and like others have said, rent and see whats you there you might be surprised to learn that you hate both of the platforms, I learned it out the hard way a few times.

IF you pick an M14 and its not TM brand your wasting your money 100%. M4 and M16.. go to a game and try some out.
