RE: Act of Valor
I don't know. I just don't know if it can even hold a candle to the authentic original:

RE: Act of Valor
I want to see it just because of the blatant Canon product placement.

I am up to go see this Friday... most likely going to be at the Silvercity in Gloucester. Anyone else up for this?

RE: Act of Valor
After the reminder on Facebook (thanks Chef!) I suppose I'll go see it too, I haven't been to an actual movie theatre since the Free Movie day last year.

RE: Act of Valor
Went and saw it. I loved it. Not ever having been in the military, I don't know how authentic it is but it seemed pretty close. I was worried that it was going to glorify war and the "American Soldier", but I felt it made them seem human. Kind of reminds you that all the names you see of fallen soldiers (American or Canadian) are people and not just a name. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone!!!!!
