I recently gave my GoPro helmet cam to my cousin for a hockey game, and ended up with this:




Then I got thinking about other cool things to get first person perspectives from.
So, I would like to know what you guys would like to see, whether it be boxing, skiing, motorcross, whatever... I would like to get some video footage of it.

Also, let me know what you thought of the hockey video.

Um.... not sure how long the camera would last in a boxing match

Skiing and motocross helmet cam videos are pretty common on youtube.

Quantis has some neat off road motorcycle and ATV videos as well as gun range videos. Hes been using helmet cams in airsoft for many years; well before the Go Pro was released. Don't know if they are public or not but they are on youtube. Deftonius also has some shotgun drill videos he uploaded a while ago.

But if you don't copyright it then you have nothing. Even then you need to have the financial backing to sue anyone who steals the idea from you.

There was a trio of folks jumping into the Ottawa river on January 1st polar dip that had GoPro cameras strapped to their heads, don't know where the footage is of that though.

Also, don't know if it was GoPro or not, but someone attached a camera to an arrow and had it fired from a bow.

-GoPro eating a sandwich (sandwich POV)
-GoPro Riding the bus
-GoPro Riding the O-Train
-GoPro Riding an escalator
-GoPro Riding an elevator

Real Suggestions:
-Spartan Race event.
-You could try to get up in a plane with Piper.
-Helicopter rental.
-Ship camera to Doug in CFB Gagetown and get some GoPro tank driving, and maybe GoPro blowing shit up too.
-Attach to a harness and rope, and throw it off the roof of a tall building.

Willing to Donate my camera for this! But in the event of it getting destroyed I hope to get a new one? Either way he needs to get one or have one lended to him. So its going to cost him to get a new one or it may not cost at all and the camera will survive!
