you can get prebuilt and preprogramed mosfets for anywhere from 20-150$

just an idea for whats out there and what you can do with a mosfet. http://www.awsairsoft.com

Thanks Durak!

I'd more than likely like something that I could build myself, I'm pretty good with electronics and probably would get more satistfaction if I learned how to do it myself and then I can do it for others locally. I'm pretty experienced with complex circuits and schematics but the programming would be the bottleneck. I'd need something pre-programmed or I'd have to do a hell of alot of learning.

The code is all custom. As far as I know you can't buy ATTINY85 microcontrollers pre-programmed as airsoft fire control units. The industry, even world-wide, isn't big enough yet for anybody to bother. The current code in the TriggerMasters is available as open-source, but you'd still need to know how to load it in the Studio software, compile it, and have the ROM burner to program the ATTINY85 with the compiled code.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

You'd think you'd be able to do burst and speed with an analog controller. Like a 555 timer and a variable setting switch of some sort. There has to be an easier way. The hard part is timing it with the gearbox cycle I guess.
