Hey folks,

Before any wild rumours start to circulate I wanted to let you all know that everything is fine and dandy. The site isn't going anywhere.

We let moderators know today that the Chef and I were going to be taking a back seat when it comes to the day to day operation of OVA. The first question was "Is OVA shutting down soon?" No. OVA isn't going anywhere. But OVA was created as a community board, with the motto "For the players, by the players" and we are trying to return to stay true to that. That in fact was the whole reason we moved to a system of elected moderators. They are your representatives, so if you want something out of OVA, let them know, and we will work to see what we can do.

I'd like to thank our current (and past) moderators for all their hard work. In case you've forgotten, your current team is Funk, HaZarD, and Lymbo. If you need anything, let them know. And also, thanks to all of you, our community for keeping OVA relevant. Hopefully we can continue to lead the charge for an ASC-anger-free board in the Ottawa area.

Also let it be known that Duke is hard at work improving the back end of how OVA works, you may not see it, but he does work hard.

Well I have to say thank you Duke and Chef for all your hard work. I know it can take a lot of time and work to continuing updating a website. Also like to thank everyone as I have the chance with all the work they do for this airsoft community. To the field owners perparing and keeping up with the fields for us to play and even to the individuals who help out. That includes the build days and cleaning up the fields to make them safe for everyone. Can't wait for the new season to start and get to know everyone better.
