RE: Kraken Police AK47 Tactical (Aftermath)
drop in gearbox and a new motor, LCT makes a decent one for about 100$ it includes a motor of unknown quality, G&P m140s are a great motor. if you havent changed it yet a tightbore barrel, the madbull python v2 barrels are good for the price.

if your looking on the cheap side of upgrades.
a modify piston set, M110 spring, and a Madbull 455mm inner barrel. your looking at a reliable 380 fps. for about 130$

What he has may already be reliable. It sounds like he got really lucky with his.

I would definitely swap the spring to a non-linear ($10-20) and add a tightbore for more accuracy and slightly higher fps ($30-50). Sounds like you already have a decent hopup rubber and unit so you're done there.

I've always preferred to shoot the shit outta my guns until something breaks....Then upgrade or fix....
Otherwise you’re going to have these subpar parts you took out and absolutely no use for them....

Just my two cents

Very true. At one point I actually sent two handfulls of gears to the scrap metal dealer when my dad went there because I had no use for the garbage gears.

My gearbox is great, and my accuracy is pretty awesome actually.

I was thinking about a barrel but I don't know... Yes, I will replace it Tongue

I also dumped about 8' total of stock inner barrels at scrap metal before. Brass prices are pretty good; that's also why I keep all my fried brass cases when reloading ammo.

RE: Kraken Police AK47 Tactical (Aftermath)
I use some Kraken AK47s for rentals.
Mechboxs are alright (cheap, but functional), I had to reshim and install metal bushings. The stock hop-up rubbers I found to have a lot of flaws and needed to be replaced.
I have found that the body on the AK is weak, the rear stock can break off while gaming, I have 4 AKs with broken stocks and bodies.

Type of Airsoft gun is up to the player.
My M249 is almost $2500 and my PTW M16 is worth about the same. As long as your gun puts BBs down range its effective.
