Toronto Airsoft Convention 2012

DATE SET -- Saturday March 17 2012--

LOCATION: FIGHTING ARTS COLLECTIVE TORONTO 927 DUPONT 2ND FLOOR

DOORS OPEN AT 10:00 AM , CLOSE AT 5:00 PM

ADMISSION $10 PER PERSON




Logistical details

Parking- street parking pay and display on Dupont, free on Concord if you can get a spot. NO parking in front of the Mechanics
There is a free lot over at Sobey's just east of Ossington. Park at the back of the lot .. there is lots of space.. I have no idea if you will get a ticket there.. it is Toronto , parking is a bitch

Transit- Ossington Station is the closest subway station. Take your best route there .. then its about a 8 minute walk north to Dupont then west 1/2 a block to 927 Dupont.

Food- GREEN MANGO FINE DINING will be on site providing a selection of easy to eat foods at affordable prices.

Retailers are not likely to have interact -- bring cash - there are ATMs close by at the corner of Ossington at Dupont , and at Sobey's

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE $10 CASH FOR ADMISSION don't show up with a $50 or a $20 .. bring $10


vender spaces- Including commercial promotions such a fields - TEAMS are limited to one (1) table

1 table = $40
2 Tables=$80
3 tables=$140
4 Tables=$200

(pay in advance by EMT and take 10% off )

Admission to the Convention $10 per person under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. NO GUN SALES to under 18

The popular gear swap table will return: bring gear and accessories you don't want and turn them into cash to buy stuff you do want!!

TEAMS are restricted to one table ( except for the WW2/ Vietnam / historical area upstairs)


GEAR SWAP TABLE PROCEDURE.

1. bring stuff you don't want or need anymore ( gear, parts, accessories , no guns or receivers )
2. collect a blank envelope ( I have 300 this year so we won't run out ) from the table monitor
3. mark you name clearly on the envelope
4. mark the price for the item clearly on the envelop
5. use the tape provided to attach securely to your item
6. If you see an item you like let the table monitor know, place the indicated amount of money in the envelope and give the envelope to the table monitor and take your new item.
7. before you leave for the day go collect your envelopes or your unsold items
8. Items left and unclaimed will be donated to new players.


OPEN RANGE- the range will be open periodically throughout the day Times of range operation will be posted outside the range.

A cash donation is expected to shoot on the range, all funds collected will be donated to local food banks

I'll be down there too this year and I'll be staying with my parents. If I can I'll see if I can talk with some of the guys in Toronto and see if they can arrange a game on the evening of.

im talking to SGT splatters paintball. Its got 2 story structures in there and a large CQB field.
When and if its confirmed ill post up the game details.

They hold games at Wasaga Beach paintball and im sure spatters hosts as well. Get a hold of a local down there that has hosted games at those fields. Will run a lot smoother and the owner will be more trusting of a local host.

sgt splatters has their own hosts working for them, there just needs to be enough interest for a game to make it happen.

Theres a game at sgt. splatters from 6-12 on Sunday. There is also a game at "paintball city" on saturday from 6-12. I have yet to find out were that is though.
