EOD isn't a brand Gabe; it stands for Explosive Ordnance Disposal. Gerber, SOG, and Leatherman make EOD models which have tools on them specifically designed for those who work with explosives. They tend to be more expensive than others due to lower production and sales but have with them more "airsoft street cred"
I forgot about SOG when I was listing brands to you. I don't know much about their multitools but their knives are known to be pretty good.
I will stick with my SwissTool RS (had to look it up to find out what model it is I have) as its so damn heavy it can be used as a weapon in itself. Its all steel instead of having an aluminum frame like most other multitools.
The Leatherman Surge gets very good reviews and is also heavy duty and heavy weight like my SwissTool RS. My dad has one that he uses fishing, hunting, and camping but he bought it after I moved out of home so I've never really played with it. He loves it and his last Leatherman (the first multitool they ever made decades ago) lasted him, well, decades of regular use. He didn't swap out his old Leatherman because it wore out either; it was just lacking features he wanted that had come out since it was designed (like having more than just two knives, a saw, and one screw driver in it.)
I also forgot to list a place to buy multitools when I last mentioned stuff to you: Canadian Tire. They don't carry the really high end stuff but do carry stuff into your price range (as well as a lot of cheap crap.) Last I checked they carried SwissArmy, Gerber, and Leatherman amoung cheaper brands. They do carry the Leatherman Surge; that's where my dad bought his.
