as most of you know i have special needs kids well my 8 year old goes thru vcrs pretty quick. so if you have or know someone who has one and wants to sell it please let me know.

if it is any help i ma posting an Add On Kijiji for a toshiba DVD burner VCR Combo for 80$ im selling some stuff to get some cash so I can get some descent gear. It works well and has ony seen a few hours of use from me. I bought it new. the model # is D-VR7 so if u are interested let me know as u cna burn those of those old VHS tapes to DVDs for your kid.
My only suggestion in that is that oyu look for media that is burnable at 1X as it is a DVD recorder as well as VHS recorder. so its all in real time

I know what you mean. I can barely keep up with all these new fangled technologies. I will stick with my beta machine for now thank you very much.

On a more serious note:
I will ask my parents. They inherited 2 VCR's from my grandfather last winter but they needed to see if they even worked. They had sat unused on a shelf since my grandmother passed away in 1995.

I may have one aswell, but I am not sure on if it works or not.

i also have a friend who repairs them so i can frankinstein stuff lol

How about a DVD player? I have a few of those you can have.

Start downloading ..... I mean buying movies for it, should not be going through DVD players as quick as you do VCR's.

the thing is he likes to fast forward the movies and rewind while watching lol

Not I. Talked to my parents and they threw out the broken VCR's months ago and donated the working one to a good will.
