Details to follow shortly, but I will be hosting the final 307 game of the season on October 15th. This time you do not need to worry about it being cancelled, its my day off and this will be for a GREAT cause.

Field fee is $20, and all proceeds will be going to the Canadian Hero's Fund. Its an organization that helps children of fallen soldiers .

Details and scenario to be posted next week, in the mean time an event is posted here for sign ups.

Age limit is 15+.

I have received an email from the Canadian Hero's Fund giving their support to the event. Per their instructions I want to be clear that in no way, shape or form am I (or the 307 staff) acting on behalf of the CHF in any context. All proceeds will go to the fund and I am hoping to get some sponsors on board as well.

I know there has been some animosity towards Combat 307 from the OVA community, I am asking that for one day you all can put aside your grievances with the field and come and support a worthy cause. The event is being organized by timmy and myself. Lou has been gracious enough to let me take control of the field for the day to help this cause.

I am truly hopeful that you all will join me in supporting the Canadian Hero's Fund.

I will be supplying a link that players can use to pay for their donation online prior to the event or if you can not make it you can place your donation as well. If you do use the online website you will not have to pay again at the field unless you want too, I will be keeping track of who donate online.

What field is this at?

307 combat i belive

The field is located in Val-Des-Mont, QC about 40 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Directions can be found by clicking the "Directions via Google Maps" located under the field name in the header.

Well I will attend as long as I don't work. My schedule comes out next week so I will be able to confirm next week. I hope we get a good turnout for this event.

So do I, for sure a worthy cause.

Again if you can't make it, I will have a page set up within a day or so that players can make donations too.

I have to ask, why no one is signing up for a CHARITY event.

Can no one actually put aside their issues with 307 and its staff to help out a good cause?

If its the field I can try to find another venue, or if there is another reason please post it. I would really hate to have to cancel the event because of this bullshit.

I will be in Lancaster, UK that day so it might be a commute. But I will gladly make a donation to the charity regardless of whether or not I can attend the event.

If you choose not to go, that's your choice. If you are legitimately otherwise committed and would have been there if you could have been, why not make a donation in the amount of the field fees anyways guys? Logistics may prevent your attendance but that doesn't mean you can't still support the cause - it's a good one, and good on Chef for hosting these types of events.

If I were in-country at the time, I would be there in a heartbeat bud.

I would be ready to give 307 a shot this year. I do not sign up in advance anymore, but if the link can be provided i am donating one way or another. It's a great cause and everyone (playing or not) should give a little something.

I will be on leave in Nova Scotia. This is the reason I haven't signed up for the event.
I have no issues with 307 and still talk and exchange PMs and e-mails with the owner.
