This is an 14+ event

It has been 4 years of open warfare between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Four (4) years ago Coalition forces went in and enforced a DMZ between the two countries but after increasing fighting between Afghanistan and Pakistan, Coalition forces abandoned the DMZ allowing for outright warfare between the two countries.

The United Nations Security Council met in a closed session to discuss the current situation and how to resolve it peacefully. After hours of debating with the UN, Pakistan and Afghan officials have agreed to a peace summit on neutral territory.

While en-route to the the summit the diplomat's plane was shot down over Afghanistan in known hostile region northwest of Kandahar.

Coalition forces were quickly able to round up the Diplomat and now must escort him to the LZ through designated "safe" routes.
Teams: NATO
Uniforms: Green Camo (CADPAT / MARPAT / Woodland)
- Escort the diplomat through a predetermined route given to you by an Admin.
- Do Not allow the diplomat be killed or your mission will restart from staging.
- If the diplomat is captured you must rescue him within 1 hour or he will be executed.
- Civilians are in the area, do not engage them.


Medic Rules:
20 Second hand touch to revive a fallen member or the diplomat. Medic role can be transferred from one live player to another. 2 Medics if squad is a full 11 either wise it will be 1 medic. A player can be healed unlimited times.

Diplomat
Uniforms: Suit / Dress Shirt and Briefcase
You are to be escorted by NATO forces, do not get yourself killed ... if you die your wife might kill your corpse.

Remember your a civilian and have not been in combat.

Diplomat can be shot once to immobilized, if shot while immobilized the diplomat will be considered dead.

Rebel Leader
Uniforms: Civilian Clothing with Military Gear
You will lead the Rebels to victory.

Same Rules as the Rebels

Rebel Force
Uniforms: Partial-BDU or Civvies (NO full BDU sets!)
- Find and capture the diplomat. Hold him in your base for 1 hour.
- Kill Infidels
- Follow your Leaders Instructions
- IF not wearing a Tac Vest and/or Weapon you are considered a civilian
- You will be staged in the field at game start, certain areas will be off limits to you until a certain time as determined by an admin

Uniform Clarification:
Players can wear any partial BDU set not including Digital Woodland. This can be done in any combination ie.

- BDU Pants, Civilian Top
- BDU Top, Civilian Pants
- etc.

Medic Rules:
None - Multiple respawn points will be placed, no wait time. If NATO is in the area (if you can hear AEG fire) go to another point.

This is the official notification of the event to be held at Red Devil field onOctober 8th. This event to replace the cancelled "Return of the Wedgey". I am happy to be able to help out Arnold and all of you with a venue. The event will be a 'light milsim" from aprox 09:30 until 16:00 hours.

Lymbo is working on the scenario. $20 field fee goes to charity.

Looks like it'll be a good one boys. I won't find out if I'll have that Saturday off or not for a few more days, but I hope I do.
