Alright Guys,

I am going to be leaving this thread up for a couple days.

I want to hear what you guys want to see on the server.

Right now I am thinking of mixing the following game modes: TDM, HQ, DOM, SAB with an occasional FFA and S&D to mix things up a bit.

I am looking for suggestions since this will be a community server.

The other thing is, do you guys want it to be HC or normal.

The final thing that is time dependent is server location. Currently I am awaiting our server to be installed in Montreal. We can however have it installed in New York immediatly.

Post up your thoughts, everyone's opinion is appreciated.

Any game type is good but for me its hardcore or bust. I'm not too big of a fan of normal mode with crosshairs, ammo counters, permanent maps, etc.

I will definitly be getting the game at some point soon.

For me its DOM TDM and HQ, I prefer normal mode. All nuketown for dom and HQ would be fun as its the best map for those game types. probly a three round rotation per map and game type, one game per type can be hardcore or something, keep the good players interested.

Found an RCON tool that allows multiple game mods and is rotating randomly between HC and Normal.

yeah I love regular modes but I hate how much it takes to take people down. I love hardcore but I hate how long the respawn time is in regular TDM. Thank god for HC HQ.

I build my own but wouldent call myself an expert.

from what i have heard if you are running a dual core its laggy because for some reason the game has been made to rely in large part on the cpu and not your graphics card .... so im going to get a quad and see if it makes it any better . cause the lag is crazy !

The game was designed to use a gigantic chunk of your CPU over your GPU no matter what processor you have sadly

My choke is not this game related. Its any game. I was playing starcraft 2 the other day and MAD LAG. L4d was alright but I had to turn of that core bs. And then I played Bioshock and had lag once in awhile. Its definately something in my computer that is lagging.

Last time it was the silver paste that was completly gone. Wen I put new one it fixed everything. I know i have to upgrade my videocard, my motherboard and processor but I guess im just not comfortable doing it all alone.

lemme know if you need any help with that zofia; also, you said the paste was gone? I think i have some superlube leftover from when I built my pc; If i can dig it up, we should be able to fix that

I can confirm that; I'm running a quadcore, and it actually runs smoother than MW2 did for me; guess that explains it.

Im running tha game fine on a 2.8ghz dual core Intell and a EVGA 260.
