yeah, I saw that right after I said I could sub in for guys that pulled out... no plate carriers or armor... he was on the fence about answering my vest question... but if I can't wear the vest, means I have to huck everything around in a pack, I have no rig that can carry all the crap needed for 24 hours.

I dont believe you will have trouble using your vest, I think they just dont want people coming all geared out in modern equipment. If its an issue, you can wear the life preserver...lol
